The following is a partial listing of ASAE Standards that are related to the design of Agricultural Implements that are powered by PTO shafts.

S203—Front and Rear Power Take-Off for Agricultural Tractors
This standard provides dimensions and specification for power take-off shafts defined as type 1, 2 and 3.

S 207—Operating Requirements for tractors and Power Take-Off Driven Implements

This standard addresses the need for providing suitable means of transmitting power from the tractor power take-off to the implement and hitching of the implement to the tractor.

S318—Safety for Agricultural Field Equipment
This standard addresses personal safety for operators and others during operation and service of agricultural field equipment.

S331—Implement Power Take-Off Driveline Specifications
This standard establishes static and dynamic torsional requirements for universal joint drivelines.
